Storytime Drama is back!
Sunflower theatre for our youngest storytellers! Imagine playing out fairy tales and creating stories of dreams and adventure. The children work together playing with characters, choosing costumes and building sets of their own story worlds.
Our Storytime Drama classes validate the creative energy and ideas of very young children. Scripts are never used. Instead, plays are created through a collaborative process between the children and the instructor. This builds a sense of pride and infinite possibility within the children.
The plays are written down and then narrated by the teacher. The children choose costumes and props, and create dialogue and actions to make their story come to life. The finished play is performed for parents at the end of each class session.
